Hello family and friends, welcome to Hive Music Festival Week 122 Round 2. I’m @akwash360 and in this week’ rendition I will be presenting a cover of the song ‘Yabo (Praise) by Mintrel K.I, a Nigerian gospel artist.
Yabo is one of my favorite gospel songs, which I love so much. I fell in love with the song ever since the track came out in 2021. I can listen to the song over and over again without getting fed up. The sound of his voice is just so amazing and the way he switch pitches from high to low and low to high smoothly is something commendable.
I’m also inspired by the way he presents his songs effortlessly. How he align with the instruments and stayed in tune with the key regardless of the pitch he switched to. I must say that the lead vocal and the entire backups did a great job in delivering this song. This shows how committed they are in rendering their services to humanity, which is something I admire alot. I love it when someone gives in his or her best to ensuring that a task is carried out at it best no matter what.
I am so much inspired by the song because it blesses my soul any time I listened to the song the wordings and the lyrics is Just a powerful message to me personally because as humans I believe it's our responsibility to worship and praise the lord for that is the least we can do to show him appreciation and return all glory to him. Just as the song implies that jesus is our joy and peace, which is very true. Therefore we must give God the praise (yabo). As prophet Joshua announced to the children of Israelites that 'as for me and my family, we must serve the lord', we also needs to take that bold step of faith.
