Hi everyone!! Hive music festival week No 118 Round 1. I will be doing a cover song titled king of glory by CeCe winnas with a guitar. Am so excited to be part of this and am happy am doing this.
The story behind the song
I didn't just pick the song but it's what I keep really desire.
Something about being with God is so sweet. He is actually more than a friend, so close than the cloth we wear. God have emotions, he desires intimacy, communion, and gist 😊.
God is love. He desires to dwell in us each and everyday and even for the same reason I love the song because it talks about that experience.
Your experience of God is in your intimacy with him, just being with him everyday. You can only know a person you've spent time with. No one knows a man out of the blues. Relationship with God is like a relationship with a woman. If you don't give a woman time you won't get her attention and love.
God wants to fill us, this our body and that can only be achieved in the being with him.
In an attempt to give a story behind What Happ between God and man that brought both personalities to the place of separating from each other is this.
When God created man he kept him in the garden called Eden. He instructed man not to eat from any tree in the garden as the day he eat of that tree he will surely die. It now happened that man was deceived by the devil and man disobeyed by eating of a tree in the garden. After man eat man became sinful Because the nature of God left man and an evil nature possessed man. God normally came to fellowship with man and as he came he called unto man as he usually do, but man hid himself from God.
The end of the story in the garden was that man was sent out of the garden of Eden. God really desired the relationship between man and him and so he made different attempt but that nature of sin in man was a great hindrance. An ark was created which the aim was to carry God and have a closer proximity to man to have intimacy but it failed. The temple was created and it was only the priest that was allowed to see man all in attempt to keep a good relationship between God and man. The priest will have to sacrifice bulls or the required animals just to be able to enter the temple to talk to God on behalf of the people. God wanted fellowship he wanted intimacy with man. God so much love fellowship with mankind.
So Jesus came to be the final solution between the problem of God and man. Jesus died and his blood became the sacrifice that speaks for the sin of man daily. When he died Bible said the curtain of the temple divided into two to signify that man is allowed to enter and have access to him freely.
God so much love to have relationship with humanity. He didn't just create a people to have Dominion upon no. He created what he can have fellowship with that was why he created us to be like him. We resemble him and not any animal.
So the song is in attempt to bring that same picture, God should fill this place. The place there is us. So that we can be with him daily all is for fellowship. You cannot know a man you've not being with or don't spent time with that is what God want. He want us to know him and to have fellowship with him.
