For the 9th week of jamming zone, I covered a song from the band Dewa 19 entitled Dewi "goddess".Band Dewa 19 is a band from Indonesia.
Dewa 19, or simply called Dewa, is an Indonesian rock music group formed in 1986 in Surabaya, Indonesia. This group has undergone several personnel changes and its current formation is Ahmad Dhani (keyboards),[a] Andra Junaidi (guitar), Yuke Sampurna (bass), and Agung Yudha (drums). After dominating festival stages at the end of the 1980s, Dewa 19 then moved to Jakarta and released their first recording in 1992. This group achieved success throughout the 1990s by Mekel.

This band is very famous in Asian countries, and this band has had a good career since the founding of this band until now, even though there have been many personnel changes.
and the meaning of the song "Dewi" is the embodiment of love that knows no conditions. The story depicts a woman who accepts and loves her partner wholeheartedly. In the lyrics, it is depicted how the woman sees her lover as a perfect figure in imperfection.
and what I like most about this song is the beginning of the guitar intro and the guitar solo of this song. because this solo is very beautiful, very sharp.
and one of the members of this band that I like is the guitarist. He is one of the best guitarists in Indonesia, although there are many good Indonesian guitarists. But he is an extraordinary guitarist who is very talented and has mastered many guitar playing techniques. Yang I like his unique story, because he is self-taught and he doesn't know chords, but he plays with strong feeling. Many of this band's songs are the result of arrangements by this guitarist. I hope the performance I present will provide comfort to my friends. .
