Long time since I didn't post, and better later than never.
Recently I developed this medium format ilford HP5 120 black and white film (so many descriptions instead of saying just understandable HP5 120), and as usual, I photographed some points of the process with the goal to show you how beautiful and romantic this way of making ART with our hands. The way of the analog ZEN, some kind of chemical addiction to the meditation with celluloid and the Silver halides.
Additionally, i would like to invite you to join our Analog (FILM) Photog and to share with other film and traditional photography lovers your old and new stuff. Use #filmphotography tag to find more film-related interesting stuff. Additionally, check out these awesome artists @angel35mm @barbarabezina @captainklaus @guillerobla @solymi @silviamaria @ela.muds @eolinde @kunschj @justinmullet and @wwwiebe.
Here are some images from my meditation process :
But everything started from this developing tank when the process already ended and the film is still underwater and I'm feeling excited to take it out and to check if I got my film exposed and developed properly :-) It's not like I'm trying to romanticize the entire process, but finally yes I literally do this.
I used this wonderful Fujifilm GA645 Medium Format film camera made for the work in the studio (it was called "professional").
Here we go. I created this Analog (FILM) Photog with the goal to gather together very talented photographers here on Hive and to show to many of photography lovers some forgotten but the still interesting side of the photography making process.
We need your help - so don't hesitate to join even if you don't use an analog camera. Sure you will find some special stuff photographed by amazing photographers with their Film cameras.
