Dear folks
i'm currently experiencing some quite uncomfortable sensations in my chest. Although it is not a nice sensation, it does not concern me in the slightest as i am certain this is not a physical condition, but an #emotional one.
Despite having practiced #mindfulness, #meditation, #breathwork, #yoga and many other " #spiritual " #healing modalities over the last 18 years or so, i'm very aware that this #awakening journey which we all appear to be on (as we wake up from this dream of life), is a #neverendingjourney while we remain attached to these human bodies.
This does not mean that we cannot remain in these bodies and be #selfrealised, but for that to happen gifts from Grace needs to come to us, and we need to know how to recognise them and how to receive them.
All we can do in the meantime is to set the conditions most conducive for Grace to come.
The article from which the images above and below are sourced, focuses on 6 different kinds of Grace. i in-courage all to read the short article.
What am i currently doing to receive this gift from Grace of the unpleasant sensations i am currently experiencing?
i am "doing" a particular type of breathwork meditation (as i write) which is instructed in a superlative book named The Presence Process (written by Michael Brown) whilst keeping attention on the physical bodily sensations.
In a nut-shell, that's more or less all we need to do to reverse virtually any #disease (dis-ease).
That's a bold statement (and an over-simplufication, and easier said than done)!
My point is, the more present we become (and focusing on the breath and the bodily sensations grounds us in the Present moment), the more we become aware of the ways in which we act in this (apparent) world which cause dis-ease.
This then gives us the opportunity to change our habits by making better choices, (for example) with what type of and how much food we choose to consume, the type of water we drink, medications we consume, products we put on our bodies and use in our household, etc.
But also, just as, if not more important, we are more likely to become aware of the lifetime of physical, mental and emotional toxins we have accumulated due to programming since conception (and even in apparent past lives).
We can then choose to #detoxify the bodies (physical, mental & emotional) to remove the crud (for example by fasting and #coloncleansing).
i took a break while writing this post to prepare & eat some #healing #biogenic #living food for Mum and myself.
The salad contains lettuce, red bell pepper, mango, grated carrot, avacado & sprouted lentils.
i then added a dressing of lemon juice, olive oil, turmeric & ginger powder, yeast extract & peanut butter. Served with oatcrackers spread with raw sprouted hummus & #vegan cheese, delicious and life supporting.
Ok, back to the subject in hand.
Although the instructions for the breathwork meditation in the Presence Process Procedure (as instructed in #ThePresenceProcess book) mainly apply for the morning & evening 15 minute sitting practice, in an audio recording i recall listening to several years ago, #MichaelBrown advises to do a similar practice (as i described above) whenever we remember to do so during the day, like for instance when reading or writing.
This is because it's more challenging to remain present with eyes open and when we're doing stuff as opposed to sitting still, so this practice can help us to be more able to keep present when life's circumstances trigger us, as they inevitably do.
Well, i guess that's all for now. The unpleasant sensation have passed.
Who needs a DoctorThe Presence Process? or a therapist when we have such amazing self-facilitated #emotionalintegration modalities such as
Not i (touch wood :-)
We need to learn to be our own doctor.

I feel that pressure too, some days. My 'fix' is to press the accuresure point on my sternum, in line with my nipples for a few seconds while visualising my heart chakra opening. It's only a temporary fix but des give relief.
I love this. If we could think of symptoms, not as disease, but as communications from our bodies, we could heal ourselves. Symptoms are ourselves telling ourselves what needs doing. I had similar chest pains in bed last night, and I breathed deeply until they subsided. Had I freaked out and imagined I was having a heart event, I would have had a heart event. As it was, I then fell asleep and had one of the best sleeps I've had in ages, a good ten hours uninterrupted. I wonder how many of us had these chest pains last night.

Also I agree that WE MUST be own our doctors.
The mainstream medical system is a shambles.
