Yay for chicken's! Your kids will love them. I don't recognize any of those breeds. But I hope you get a bumper crop of eggs....and more little chickens @canadianrenegade. I am grateful for chickens and eggs but they are a struggle. Escape artists in the gardens. Mite problems. Give me goats any day!

Egg production has been slow to start but we are hoping after a week to settle that it picks up. @alexanderfarm just posted on how to clip chicken wings so many we will be putting that into practice if we end up with escape artists. Can't comment in caring for goats but I can say they're exceptionally cute. -Aimee
Egg production usually takes a dive with change. I saw her post. She is hilarious. I hope she keeps her escape artists contained now! Mine have even outwitted the hairdresser's efforts. Goats are very cute. I just made plenty comments in my last post. All in the challenges of homesteading....
