RE: Propagating from cuttings - my Garden journey

Cuttings are always a nice little activity to do. It doesn't take long, and if they take success! I find that putting things immediately in some ground or compost (I make a mix of 50% compost 50% sand I find lying around) they take. I water them religiously every day. I succeed in some 10 or so rosemary plants a month ago and they are growing so well now! Cuttings are awesome if they take. Free plants 😀 All the best and success!

Thanks! Ya I think I need I need to go a little bigger than the kitchen windowsill, but my garden isn’t very big. I’m definitely keen on more Lavendar though so let’s see if this one is a hit then I’ll go bigger on that next time. Lavender ain’t cheap!

True. I am lucky with the space I have. My garden is growing mainly from cuttings I have made over the years. and the driveway looks like a nursery. And I am lucky, for some reason, either because I composted loads of lavender last year, or some bird ate lavender seeds and made droppings in my garden, but I think I found 10 seedlings growing in my garden. So I am seeking out all the seedlings I can find! One of them is about 30 cm big now.
