I love basil and it demands very little. I always re-plant the store-bought plant and they give harvest for months more!

Yes, the store ones are good too. It's also possible to multiply the store one by cutting some pieces of it and putting in water to get new roots. I once tried it, took some weeks but it worked. 😀
