I am assuming May long weekend is around the 31st? I just started my tomatoes on May 1. I also had old seed and some did not come up, so I managed to find new seed and put them in. My last frost date is May 31st also, here in New England.

That's weird, May long is the 22-24th this year. I wouldn't have guessed that your frost date would be later than ours. Although like I mentioned some years it does frost after the May long. Keeping an them inside one extra week usually doesn't affect anything.
