At the beginning of this pandemic, I must say that I was one to be overwhelmed by fear. I thought that this fear was created by watching the news and paying attention to the other media, but I realized that this only enhanced my fear. I find it kind of ironic because I was never the person to pay attention to the news for this exact reason. I am so grateful for my self-awareness and intuition, which lead me to withdraw from the fear causing news shown in the media. After seeking within myself for answers, I realized that the thought of losing my freedom created my initial fear. This realization brought upon me some new awakening about what freedom meant for me. I realized that by distancing myself from the material world through meditation, contemplative prayers, and other various forms of spiritual growth, my freedom would never be taken away from me. Like many other words, freedom is viewed in many ways. My definition of freedom isn’t defined by what the material world has to offer, like going shopping, going to dine at restaurants, visiting friends/family, etc. My freedom is determined by the choices I make towards my thoughts, my beliefs, and my values. No government or pandemic will ever take that away from me.
For me Freedom is:
• Choosing to hope for humanity over fearing for humanity
• Choosing to focus on the things that I can control over and let the universe or God take care of the rest.
• Choosing to soak in new memories made with my children and family instead of dwelling on how things should be or how they could be.
• Being guided by my intuition instead of by what people are saying in the news.
• Spreading love and light energy to the world instead of hate and hopelessness.
In the end, for me, my freedom doesn’t concern the outside world. Nothing can take my thought, my beliefs, and my faith in something greater than life itself away from me. I believe that when we detach ourselves from the material world, we will unleash are chains to reach freedom that some of us may have never felt.

Ah yes, freedom and how you perceive yourself to be free. I believe a free consciousness is the first true Natural Medicine available to us and to use this medicine, all we need to do is perceive it.
Hello @joseeb, this is @notconvinced on behalf of Natural Medicine.
I'm glad to see there are still people out there that take responsibility for their own feelings and thoughts. As long as you are in control of those and you are, you are free.

I watched something a white ago about an African American who was kept in solitary confinement for about 20 years. This would break most people, but he realised that while his body was confined his mind could still be free. That was how he came out of the situation with a clear and intact mind. It's an incredible demonstration that as much as our body is imprisoned, it's our choice as to how we allow it to affect us.
I did a yoga flow this morning to some pretty loud mantras and felt such joy. I realised again that I'm only as trapped as my mind makes me. Constantly pulling my mind AWAY from the ridiculousness of the media, fear and anxiety is a full time job - but it's the only way we can break the cage bars of these feelings of being trapped.
Relaxing back into our intuition in relation to our health is always good. Stepping away from fear is always our choice too.
