For the first time I took part in the #plantbased cooking challenge organized by @justinparke every week, after reading one of his articles or writings, of course this challenge is very interesting for me. As a housewife, cooking is a daily activity that I do, for that I am currently cooking Acehnese Jackfruit Vegetables which are very delicious.
This dish is formulated from various spices that are used as cooking spices, some of the spices that I use in this dish have their own benefits for the health of the body, so Acehnese Jackfruit Vegetable dishes are very good for consumption for your menu. In this dish I will use spices that are nutritious for health, as for the ingredients for this dish as follows.
Red onion.
Garlic.
Ginger.
Bay leaf.
Galangal.
Chilli.
Turmeric.
Lemongrass.
Coconut milk.
Candlenut.
Coriander.
Pepper.
Jackfruit.
Cooking oil.
Salt.
Sugar.
After the ingredients or spices are prepared, here are the steps we must take to cook Aceh's typical jackfruit vegetables, as for the method as follows.
The first thing I did was wash the ingredients or spices until they were clean or hygienic.
Furthermore, the ingredients or spices in the form of chili, pepper, shallot, garlic, ginger, candlenut, nutmeg, coriander, and pepper are mashed using a blender, if there is no blender the spices can be ground until smooth.
How to cook Aceh's typical jackfruit vegetables as follows.
Heat the cooking oil first, then stir-fry the prepared spices, stir until evenly distributed and cooked. When it is cooked then add lemongrass, galangal and lemongrass and bay leaf in the stir fry, stir until evenly distributed and add a little water so that the spices are completely cooked.
When it is boiling then add the jackfruit, coconut milk and turmeric, sugar and salt to taste. For the gravy, you pour enough water according to your needs and tastes, cook the food until it boils, stir the food evenly until it is completely cooked.
Usually I cook this food for only 10 minutes, try not to take too long because the Jackfruit will be destroyed, the Jackfruit that I use in this dish is a young Jackfruit. When finished serving the food menu on the dining table, enjoy it with sensational delicacy.
This food is more delicious when consumed while it is still hot, this food has so many benefits for the health of the human body, this is because this food is formulated with several spices that have the property of restoring various diseases.
