Today is a very tiring day for me and my family, where today I spend all my time at home with my family because I am on leave from work.

While at home, what I do is help my wife at home in household chores, besides cleaning the house, what I do is help my wife cook for the lunch menu. One of the menus that we prepare is cooking vegetable soup for lunch, this menu has indeed become my family's favorite food menu.

Vegetable soup is a very healthy food, this is because the process of making this food uses vegetables that are rich in complete nutrition and nourish the body if consumed perfectly. Even this food is very easy to find because the process of making this food is very easy, but I have a little trouble in the process of making it because I have never done it at all.

In this article, I will share my experience on how to serve a very easy homemade soup dish, here's how to cook vegetable soup for lunch today.

The first thing I did was I prepared various cooking utensils, I washed all the cooking utensils one by one until they were clean.

Next I prepared some ingredients to process into a very delicious but simple soup, here are the ingredients I prepared.

The ingredients I prepared were water, cooking oil, garlic, shallots, potatoes, carrots, beans, cabbage, tomatoes, scallions, macaroni, salt, sugar, pepper, and chili as well as chicken stock for flavoring.

After the ingredients are prepared, first wash the vegetables thoroughly and slice the vegetables or cut them according to taste, the materials used are in accordance with the dose or need.

For the processing, the first thing I did was fry the sliced ​​or chopped onions, garlic, and chilies until cooked, then pour enough water into the stir-fry and wait until the water really boils.

When it's boiling, add all the ingredients that have been prepared earlier such as potatoes, carrots, beans, cabbage, tomatoes, scallions, macaroni, salt, sugar, pepper, and chilies and chicken stock. Cook until cooked, cover the pot tightly so that the cooking process is finished quickly, if it is cooked then serve it for lunch.

Vegetable soup is very delicious eaten hot, this vegetable is very good for health. This simple food is rich in nutrients, very good for digestion, can increase stamina, relieve certain diseases and can warm the body. Therefore, it is not surprising that when they are sick, many people consume this food as their daily diet.

That's the experience I got today at home, hopefully my writing can be useful for all of us. I take the #plantbased cooking challenge every week by @justinparke and today the vegetable soup menu is my writing for the challenge.
