The Process of Making the Boh Rom-rom

The Acehnese call this cake by the name boh rom-rom, while this cake looks like a klepon that is sold in the market. Boh rom-rom is often a dish to break the fast during Ramadan in Aceh, not only that the cake that melts in the mouth is also often served when there is a celebration or when it's time to relax.

The ingredients:

  • 100 grams of glutinous rice flour
  • 20 grams of hot water
  • 20 grams of cold water
  • 100 grams of brown sugar (sliced)
  • 2 pandan leaves
  • 75 grams of grated coconut (steamed with a pinch of salt)

  • First, add the coconut milk, wheat flour and pandan leaves
