I think its amazing you are able to talk about such endless tragedy. The part that hit home was the part about finding one parent had dementia when the other parent suddenly died. This was the case for my best friend and started a nightmare journey for him as they had to sort out court orders to be able to lock her in at home after endless phone calls from the police who had found her wandering and for my friend to see his Mum's unbelievable behaviours due to this awful disease and the fight they had to get her home carers.
I genuinely dont know how you have coped. Im not sure I could so kudos to you.
Best wishes to you and your family and thanks for such thought provoking writing.
Hello Nathen,
It has definitely been a long a difficult journey for me too, having to deal with the complexity of Wills, DoLS, Social Services, Hospitals (one tried to send my Parent home in a taxi, can you imagine?), Doctors, and NHS CHC, to name a few.
So I know what your friend has been through and my heart goes out to them.
Thank you for your kind sentiments
