Oh my God - I loved, loved, loved this post of yours. It is magnificent.
YES! I have several conversations with my inner shaman and have even seen her. She is old, white-haired and STRONG. How can possibly an old lady be that strong?!!?!?!?! "I'm a mother", she told me. "I washed my children's clothes, and mine as well, in the river. I carry them on my arms. I bend to hug them. I cook. I sew. I plant food and carry them on my shoulders. I am a mother. I am a women. And I am strong." And SHE IS strong - those arms, oh my God!
It was beautiful reading this. I have had a battle these past few weeks and, only two days ago, your 2nd point hit me. But nobody is asking anything from me. Nobody is going to punish me. Why am I feeling so guilty? Why do I think I NEED to do something in order to be accepted by... by who?!??!?
