RE: Choosing Limits or Choosing Healing: Your Choice

in Natural Medicine5 years ago

I so believe we choose the health state we have.

Abuelo Rufino, as a lot of chamans and indigenous healers, smokes a lot of tobacco. We've been told it damages the lungs but that doesn't happen to him. Tobacco is a sacred plant for them; they don't see it as negative so it is NOT negative IN them. He bikes almost three hours everyday. He is strong. He is NEVER quiet until it's time for him to go to sleep. And that is one day in between because of Yopo ceremony. He is seventysomething. He eats healthy. And he is present -and I think that's his secret.
I have a friend who needed insulin three times a day and, with Caapi and Ayahuasca, she doesn't anymore. She even is a pastry chef now!!! Also a friend who healed HIMSELF from cutaneous leishmaniasis with the Wim Hoff method and Kambó.

I don't think illness are terminal. I believe there is something out there for everything we need to heal. And I also believe there is something INSIDE us. Always. A lot of diseases origin within our emotions. A other lot of them are caused by the "medicines" they prescribe us.

It's always so outrageously encouraging to meet an older person who defies all the expectations. ❤️ Mindset and belief structures are everything.
