Have a nice day!
I want to share healthy herbs that we commonly find everywhere. I thought before that this is just an ordinary weed but when I came here to Saudi Arabia, I found people eating it mixed with any kind of vegetables. I love vegetables but it must be according to what my parent gave to me before.

It grew freely in my flower garden. But there are people who plant it their farm and sell in the market.
Aa far as I knew, I asked information about why they ate those weeds? Then they told me that it is very good for a person who was with a blood problem like hypotension. It is also good for a dengue infected person. It helped the platelets overcome the virus. It had been tested here in my workplace.
Later on, I heard from my parent about it. This is called Olasiman in Filipino.
It looks like spinach or as a succulent plant
Look at this plant hanging at the back part of the aircon. I wondered if how it grew there. Maybe, its the bird who cut it and brought it there. It became an attractive hanging plant, most especially in the morning when the tiny flowers bloom.
This morning, I cut some of the flowers and took a picture.
The nice tiny flowers are very attractive.
Soon, I will be cooking it with any kind of green leafy vegetables in my garden. Eating an organic vegetables is so very safe for us. I know what water I watered them every day and I never use any pesticides here.
I encourage everyone to be more cautious about our daily intake. Plant your own vegetables.

this post by Aviva Romm earlier this week. It is amazing how knowledge unfolds. Thank you for sharing 🌱What a sweet post @olivia08! I love purslane. I had a deep plant communication experience with purslane in the backyard of the place I lived three homes ago. I was hanging laundry to dry and my bare feet touched this plant. I looked down and instantly, with clear certainty, knew it was purslane. I had no prior knowledge of this plant, but it soon became one of my favorite foraged snacks. I didn't realize that plant communication was even a thing until I read
Thecsame way with me, I was just stepping down in our backyard at home. Please to plant it like a hanging ornamental plant. I noticed it live healthier. It lives hanging on at the back of the aircon and it is still alive until now. Maybe, the cold water from the aircon give it a good condition.
I have been learning more about eating weeds in the past years. Now, instead of removing them, I give them a place to grow.
