It can be bland sometimes, but it's better than artificially flavored, highly processed food and drinks that can be instantly attributed as delicious :D
I will try blanched veggies soon, maybe add a homemade dressing to add taste. Been doing a lot of stir-frying / sautéing lately and I got noticeable acne, don't know if the two are connected, but I'm sensing it.
