I know you are all familiar with the fruit Rose apple.
This is a very water rich fruits which have a lot of fibre and vitamins in it. And in my native this fruit is very popular and we all have that one tree in our house. I too have one in my backyard. I like to share some items that we can made with Rose apple .Hi #hive friends and @naturalmedicine.
Juice.
- Sufficient amount of rose apple
- 1 table spoon lime juice
- 4 table spoon sugar.(It up to your preference)
- 1/2 cup of water
Cleaning the Rose apple and slice it into small pieces.
After proper juicing with lemon juice, Sugar and water, filter it to remove all the fibre. Or that might be uncomfortable for drinking.
Jam.
- Rose apple - 500gm.
- Sugar - 300g - 400g.
- Lemon - 1/2 slice.
- Water - 1/4 cup.
After preparing the juice(Just as mentioned above) boil it until it reaches a firm texture.
very simple right....
Wine.
This may take time.
We need to keep it for years in a tight jar after adding yeast and sugar . The jar should be properly closed and air tight.
- Rose apple. -1kg
- water -1 litre
- yeast -3/4 tsp
- sugar -1 kg
- whole wheat /Kernels -1 tsb
After mixing these all ingredients keep it in a dry place. After 5 - 6 days open it and add some more ingredients if needed. We can figure it out by tasting .
I prepared a jar. And I like to keep it for 2 or 3 years.
There are many more simple items we can made with Rose apple like pickle, Halwa etc.
I'm not gonna share it because I didn't try it.😅
