They have been there for me right from the start and are still giving me power and vibrancy every day - Smoothies.
I remember my first banana mixtures about six years ago which I used to make with pasteurized fruit juices since I didn’t find them sweet enough without. 🙈🙈 I am pretty sure though I just didn’t know how to choose ripe bananas and on top of that my taste buds weren’t that sensitive to appreciate the sweetness of fresh fruits.
With every mixture I added less of the processed stuff and soon figured out how to rock these fruity meals. Right now, my favourite creation is super quick and goes like this...
🍌 6-8 bananas
🍌 big piece of ginger
🍌 small piece of turmeric
🍌 dash of black pepper (to increase the effect of the turmeric)
🍌 1/2 tsp cinnamon
🍌 1-2 tbsp barley grass juice powder
🍌 a bit of water
I like to use some frozen as well as fresh bananas to get a bit of a nicecream feeling in there. And I am a bit crazy with ginger right now so it seems like I am adding more and more every day - embrace what you love!

That's such a great intention for spring time! Getting all those powerful fruits and greens in :)
I never add black pepper in my smoothies but I can see it goes really well with the smoothie. Thank you for sharing the recipe.
You don't taste it a lot (as long as your smoothies are as big as mine :D) and it does have a very beneficial effect on the potency of turmeric ;)
