Are you a peacemaker
Let me start by defining what a peacemaker actually means.
A peacemaker is a person who pursues peace at all times. When the particular person is been offended or provoked to get angry, his response to the offender is to always ensure that peace reigns.
Irrespective of the gravity of the offence.
Most of the time, a peacemaker takes all the blame and suffer some consequences but they are always happy at the end of the day because all they are after is peace in which they tend to finally get.
Also, when they see other people involving in quarrel, fight or conflict, they always intervene to ensure that they make peace with each other.
That is what we are expected to be, a peacemaker wherever and whenever we find ourselves.
Though others might be creating out problems and might even try to erased the peace away due to their offence but we as a peacemaker we should not follow them do so.
We should always aim at letting peace reign in all situation we are involved.
The most amazing and lovely thing about these people is that God loves these people so much and we all know that anybody God loves so much, that person is favoured.
Jesus specifically said that they will be called the children of God.
We can call them the children of God because our Jesus is the prince of peace.
Let us bring it back home. If the peacemaker is a child of God, then whose child is the troublemaker?
What many of us are ignorant of is that when we always choose quarrels over peace, who do you resemble.
To shock the troublemakers out there, they may not actually know it but they are 100% not a child of God.
This is the continuation of the first part I wrote about. You can check my previous post to find it and read it.
Like I said in the part 1, a trouble maker is not a child of God because they do not exhibit the characteristics of God. Rather those of the devils.
If whenever you see two people involving in quarrels, you begin to say things that would fuel the anger of one or the other and cause the quarrel to become more heated.
That shows you are a troublemaker. If you really have a reputation of always retaliating against anyone who offends you, you are a troublemaker.
It also continues to you if you are one who likes to cause quarrels amongst your colleagues, friends or family members, then yiu are a troublemaker.
You need to change your ways.
Many many times, we always want ti make peace but we don't want to be seen as a weakling. The reverse is however the truth.
It takes strength to controls one's ego, anger and work towards peace. Hence, it is a strong but wise person that will seek peace.
Are you among the wise people who will in every situation seek for peace instead of trouble.
Whenever you are tempted to fight, remember always that unbelievers don't read the bible, hence it is we the Christian that model Christ to them.
If you really claim that the prince of peaces lives in you just like how some people will claim and you are the quarrelsome type, many unbelievers will not want that your prince of peace to live in them.
Making peace with others is one of the prerequisite to making it to heaven on the last day.
Lastly ask yourself this question:
Am I a peacemaker?
Am I a troublemaker?

Deciding to be a peacemaker
When there is actually do dispute going on around you, always be aware that there are three lines of action you can actually take.
You can either stay out of it, takes sides or make peace between the quarrelling parties.
It can really be a difficult situation at times to be a peacemaker but deciding it will really pay and will really be the best situation.
God expects his children to pick the option of really making peace at all times. When you are known as a Christian and you really want to portrait yourself to people around you as a Christian, people respect and trust your judgement.
Hence it would be of great effect if you attempt to make peace, between quarrelling partied.
Your involvement can avert a lot of things like a full blown fight, a Kong period of malice or an resolved disagreement.
If getting involved to make peace can have this effect, why be indifferent.
Do you really know that you could even be the one involved in a quarrel. At such times in that particular situation.
I implore you to always choose the side of peace.
Always look for a way in which both yourself and the other party can settle the matter amicably or peacefully.
This will or may really be difficult to do as it may result in you forgoing some benefits so as to let peace reign, but when it is the right thing to do
Imagine walking by the road and you see me arguing violently with someone.
If you know me very well, you are likely to conclude that it is just a look alike and can't be me.
But if it happens to be me, then you would be greatly disappointed by my behavior.
That is how baby Christians and unbelievers look at you too.
They believe that as a christian, you should act like Christ and he is not quarrelsome.
Rather, He commanded that we should love our enemies by quarreling, you have really show the world a wrong example of how a true christian should behave and God forbid that they carry on with that.
Many people have decided against becoming saved because of how they saw some so called Christians conduct themselves.
Don't deter someone else's salvation.
Fighting for your right can never be worth as much as a persons soul.
Choose and decide to be a peacemaker as from today.
It is the best thing that you can ever choose, the best decision and the best way to live.
Instead of deciding to be a troublemaker, be a peacemaker today and you will see how it really pays.
It will be better for you to be remember as a peacemaker instead of a troublemaker.
Are you really deciding today to be a peacemaker.

Everyone is a child - and a part of - God. Peace-making is an astounding goal to have, but not always the best or only way. Even Jesus went on a rant and thew the moneychangers out of the temple.
Hmmm. Yeah you are right I got your angle.
