Loosing fat is easy and Fun!!!!!

Most of the people are now facing obesity problem. We desperately want to loose our weight and stay fit. But what if I say loosing fat is easy and fun, we can burn fat by sleeping as well. Seems that it is very hard for you to believe? If you want to loose fat or you want to be fit and stay away from diseases below is for you

Before we start let me explain some terms I will be using in this article. I am trying to explain without using too much technical words, if it might be understandable for most of us.

All foods we eat can be classified in three categories.

-carbohydrate / carbs
-Protein
-fat

Carbohydrate in short carbs:

Carbohydrates are the source of energy for body. The fruits, vegetables, dairy, and grain food groups all contain carbs. Sweeteners like sugar, honey, and syrup and foods with added sugars like candy, soft drinks, and cookies also contain carbohydrates. Carbs and sugar are converted into glucose and finally used by body or stored by body as fat.

Protein:

protein are called the building blocks for body. It makes our muscles, repairs out body, produces energy. We get protein from fishes, Red meats, poultry. Our body uses protein converting them into simple Amino acid.

Fat:

Fat gives us energy, and it helps the body absorb certain vitamins. Many foods contain fats, including dairy products; meats, poultry, seafood, and eggs; and seeds, nuts, avocados, and coconuts. Body converts fat into fatty acid and uses.

Conventional way of trying to loose fat:

In conventional way what people do reducing the intake of all three types of foods. As they take less calories, initially they starts to loose weight fast. But after some days their body get the message that food intake is reduced abruptly. So the brain orders the body to lower it's metabolism. As Metablic rate is reduced by body, after that point weight reducing is almost an impossible task to do. Someting body cannot resist its craving and hunger and staring to eat regular food, as the body's metabolism is low already, he starting to gain fat at a double speed again.

In normal food pyramid what was developed in 1970, lion share of our calories comes from carbs( about 70%).If we take that amount of carbs insulin an Anabolic or Storage hormone is produced to use this glucose from blood. As insuline is a storage hormone we cannot burn body fat in presence of insulin.But in keto diet we take 70% of our calories from fat( good fat). Keto is rather a life style than diet. A person can follow this method in his whole life span. In keto as we take very low carbs presence of insuline is less. And we can burn our body fat without much effort.
Normally we use glucose as the source of energy for our body.we all know that glucose comes from carbs and sugar. But in keto diet sysem we use a keton body as the source of energy. Ketone body(Beta-Hydroxybutyrate) produced from fat. In keto system we eat 70% fat 20% protein and only 10% carbs comes from green vegetables.

Is ketone better fuel for body and brain?

1 grm carbs=4 calories
1 grm fat=9 calories

Seems that we will get more than two times energy from fat than glucose.
Our brain also function well in ketone produced from fat. Brain comprises only 2% of the weight of the body uses 20% of it's energy. Brain's 90% is made of fat. So after many research it has been found that brain is more active while using ketone.

What we can eat in keto:

Saturated fat:
Butter,cheese,coconut oil, Tallow, Lard etc
Protein:
Red meat, All types of fish( fatty the fish better the choice)
Egg can be a good source of protein and fat as well;
Various types of nuts.
carbs:
Green vegetable what contain less carbs and more fiber.

Food Must be Avoided:

-Processed saturated and trans fat,
-All types of carbs( Rice, wheat, potatoes etc)
-Bread
-Sugar
-Milk
-And limit some higher carbs vagitables( squash, beets,Egg plant etc)

Health benefits of Keto:

  • can reduce weight without effort
  • controlling high blood pressure without medication
  • Type 2 diabetes can be cured permanently
  • Better diet for cancer patient.
  • As this is good for brain it is used for the treeatment of Alzheimer patients.
  • Testosterone level is better
  • Good for Athletes

At present Millions of people across the world is the beneficiary of this diet. The most interesting parts of this diet system we don't have to count calories intake. With proper diet, appropriate exercise routine and sufficient sleep(7-8 hrs) we can stay fit and healty.
