Yes...sometimes it how life connecting one another, happy to see you guys. I read your intro post, where you tell about trying hard to live organic life. I do it as well here, I love everything organic, luckily I live in Aceh-Indonesia (Tropical part of the world) where many land still cultivating without chemical things and it is easy to grow our own organic vegetable instead of buying in the market which is difficult to find organic one, even though we can sometimes find the organic one in the supermarket the problem will be the price.
So kind of you to read the intro, thanks for taking the time to do that :)
Really nice that we crossed paths!
I admire what you do. Unfortunately right now we only cultivate olive trees and some herbs, but we know how hard and satisfying at the same time it is to have your own veggies and fruits. Especially tropical fruits :)
When you want to know about a new friend you will look at it a bit more, so I look up the intro post to know who I am making friends with, and that is a normal thing to do.
Now, my brother and I are focusing on planting Papaya and cultivating stingless bees, because the stingless bees have much more propolis and bee pollen than regular bees (Apis Dorsata or Apis Cerana). You can search "Honey from Trigona itama", this kind of bee produces sour honey, bee pollen, and propolis that can be extracted using olive oil, which is the best one, but since olive oil is much more expensive I am using Coconut Virgin Oil that we make ourselves. I made a little post about it here @traisto : Sting-less bees honey: best immune system. If you can find a kind of bee in your area, you can cultivate it at home and you can get high quality and pure organic honey. Start to pay attention to the tree or log wood with holes and smaller creatures around @traito and @fotostef. I will make a post about it when I come home again next week.
Regards
I've heard about stingless bees, but have no further idea. Will check your post, thanks! I haven't heard anyone having this kind of bees around, they are definitely not native here. We used to have the usual bees that when they get angry they furiously sting :) On the contrary with yours, where we lived in Crete the native species was very aggressive and was really hard to handle. Ours looked like angels compared to them :)
Best of luck with your new projects!!!
Thank you very much my friend and best of luck to you both.
Regards
