Hello Natural Medicine Lovers, today I will not share traditional medicine recipes, because I am not in the mood, so I will share recipes for food that you must already know and you have your own way to make this food, today I will make banana compote to restore my spirit which is currently down.
Today the weather is very hot, the heat is felt to the crown and my bones feel like they are about to fall out. The very hot weather also knocked my spirits down, the proof is that for half the day I just lay down without doing anything, until I felt bored, but I was helpless because the weather was very hot.
Not only that, I also have no appetite and only drink. Seems like I want to eat something sweet and warm, it crossed my mind to make porridge, but lazy.
In the afternoon, because I was bored, I finally decided to go to the garden next to my house. I was very happy to find some ripe bananas on the tree. The ripe banana happens to be a bunch of Lele tandan bananas, this banana is very delicious when made into compote. I am so excited to make banana compote.
Based on its benefits, there are 4 types of bananas in Indonesia, namely:
- Bananas from which tree fibers are taken, are usually used to make rope, for example the Manila banana.
- Bananas whose leaves are taken for food wrapping, such as stone bananas, young stone bananas are also very delicious to make a mixture of rujak/salad spices.
- Bananas whose fruit can be eaten immediately after cooking, for example Barangan bananas, green Ambon bananas, Kapal bananas.
- Bananas that are better enjoyed after cooking, for example kepok bananas, plantains,lele tandan bananas.
Banana compote is usually served warm, this food is one of the favorite menus when breaking the fast. Banana compote to restore the spirit after a day of fasting. The savory taste of coconut milk spoils the tongue, combined with palm sugar or white sugar, whatever sugar is used doesn't matter, it's just a matter of taste.
I already imagined the deliciousness of banana compote, but today I want to enjoy a bowl of banana compote with savory white sugar.
The ingredients I need are:
1.Lele tandan banana 20 pieces (choose the yellow one)
2.Palm sugar 100 grams
3.Sugar 150 grams
4.Salt 1/2 teaspoon
5.grated coconut from 1/2 coconut
6.water 1L to boil bananas
How to make :
1.peel the banana skin
2.cut bananas according to taste.
3.Add the banana into the water, boil until boiling.
4.Blend the grated coconut, while waiting for the bananas to boil until it boils.
5.Add palm sugar, white sugar and salt when the water boils.
6.Add coconut milk after the boiled bananas are cooked.
7.turn off the stove after the coconut milk boils.
8.delicious banana compote enjoyed while warm.
my son really likes banana compote, because the bananas are very sweet (the bananas ripen on the tree) and the taste of the gravy is very delicious.
You can also enjoy banana compote with the addition of ice and bread, the taste is no less delicious with warm banana compote
TIPS : use a little water to boil the bananas, so that a little coconut milk is used. If there are no lele tandan bananas, use kepok bananas, plantains or bananas that can be enjoyed after cooking.
