Why not simply not using sugar. The modern human uses it in very high amounts. It would already help if you stop adding it to everything and start getting used to the natural tastes real food comes with.

The big issue with processed sugars is that they remove everything but sugar content, it makes your blood sugar spike rapidly, and your body has trouble processing it... Thank you for your interest... I am not sure about maple syrup allergies. Here is a link that might answer your question 🤍
