Hello everyone and welcome to my blog at this hour. Aloe Vera is a medicinal plant that have proven to be a necessary ingredient to treat so many health conditions for many years. Aloe Vera is best used in its natural form by extracting the gel from the plant - this is key to getting good results. There are so many products that make use of Aloe Vera as one of the ingredients ranging from creams, gels, lotions, ointments and so on. Most of these products are used to treat skin conditions such as eczema, acne, aging, dark spots and the likes.
Aloe Vera is very easy to plant and needs little care to ensure it grows well. This has to do with watering during the dry season. Some people plant them in pots or bowls and place them somewhere close to their apartment where they can water them comfortably. It is advised that the pots have drain holes to allow excess water run out easily.
It takes some months or about a year to start harvesting an Aloe Vera plant for its gel or juice. The plant must be matured before harvesting in order to have ensure that it has all the necessary active ingredients. Also, you may need to practice rotation in harvesting so that you give a plant that you have just cut some more time to grow and produce more leaves.
The cosmetics industry, food industry and pharmaceutical industry use Aloe Vera a lot due to the benefits that it offers. The thick green gel plant is said to comprise of vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and amino acids that offer so much benefit to the human body.
Aloe Vera is used to soothe burns, heal wounds, treat eye irritations, reduce rashes and allergic reactions on the skin, lower blood sugar levels, detoxify the bowels and so on.
