@porters, thank you for your comment. I don't have pets and also made an amazing experience working for a charity vet in India as a volunteer. Don't think I could have a dog unless they decide to just hang out. Would never keep a dog on a leash. I met a dog, who is(hope) sorta his own dog. A really cool stray. He is still my best friend ever and he lives in a park in delhi. As I am profiling something I really like what people commented about labels here. Used to not be vegan and murder stays murder. I think these beings are innocent ! In my story I describe that my journey is different from the status quo vegan/plant based/What ever one wants to attach to it. at the time the word vegan wasn't even known. When you are given a machete to slice the throat of a baby deer and can't do it, because you see and feel the agony, suffering and pain, that might that be a different and valid reason for someone to change? That is everyones choice to make? As I wrote, it was done in front of me anyways, because it was already injured with a shot. Don't get me wrong for making this hypocritical statement, as I am also just human. If I would turn into an animal now, and could not speak, woke up in a slaughterhouse, I don't want to be the human that I should then fear.
