Hello nail art lovers! I'm back again as I've already changed from My Glittery Navy and Turquoise Nails. Like I mentioned/promised from last time, short nails are just too simple for me and it is time to get my feminine long nails vibe back.
This time I went to the place called "Nails Lounge" and apparently, I saw another hiver here in the community went there too. That's really cool. I saw that Nails Lounge has many franchises in places throughout Bangkok and I hope this place is legit.
Today I also wanna walk you through the process of nails art, so stay tuned if you wanna know what it takes to do them. Here we go! She started with removing my My Glittery Navy and Turquoise Nails, by cutting and filing them.
To get them ready for the extensions, she cut my dead skin around the nails by using this (I'll call it) nail drilling machine, felt almost like one in a dental clinic. lol
Now my nails were back to basic. She then got the plastic extensions ready.
One by one, she needed to find the accurate size of plastic extensions.
They're obviously too long for my lifestyle, so they needed to be cut short and filed to make it as smooth as one with my real nails.
Now my nails are long! Exactly how I love it!. You know, you might not be able to imagine how long the preparation process takes, but it was literally more than an hour just to do this prep step for both hands.
Here's the before and after photos of the extensions.
After soft brushing the excess powder away, it's acrylic time. This place, they used acrylic powders mixed with some liquid(? idk what it was) and laid it on my real nails and spread it to the extension so the nails got that smooth surface.
The acrylics are done and again filing and making them smooth as one.
And it's time for the color~~ Started with the clear base color.
Then I want the natural pink to decieve people that it's my real healthy nails. We even coated them up twice to make it more pink.
Today I decided to go with a French tip style, but with brown, to match my hair, so she had to use a super small brush to paint them one by one to get the shape and angle right.
Here's my favorite part to see her using an uv flashlight to quick dry the paint. Looks really cool! There's how the French tips looked! I loved it already <3<3
Let's put some glitter on these babies! I decided to get a little golden fireworks for them today. So paint awayyy.
Finishing off with the last top nail coat and nail oils to keep our nails from drying out.
And my lovely fireworky French-Tippy nails an OMG I'm in loooooooove <3<3
Needless to say I'm super impressed with how it turned out and will definitely recommend other people to come check this place out. For me, I'll definitely come back and look for new art styles to try out in the future.
Thank you for appreciating the beauty of the nails art with me guys! Don't forget to...
Stay glittery and sparkling, everybody!

Beautiful, and an amazing step by step story. Very helpful
Thank you :)) I hope the step by step could be helpful for someone who doesn't get why or how it was done, they could get the picture.
It really look great!
Thank you so much! :) I'm happy how it turned out after a long time of sitting there too.
Never had french nails even though I've always wanted. It just seemed way too complicated for me but with a bit of dedication and patience, everything can be done. Thank you for sharing the guide! :)
Oh god it took such longgg time honestly, but that's why choosing a good nail place is important, you dont wanna spend those hours and then it came off easily, you know.
Get somee! This style is great for making your nails appear longer too. If you're into it, you'll like it.
Amazing nails!!! Nail artists need more respect and recognition. They do great work. Very nice post, I like the step by step process and might use that style for one of my posts.
