Congressman Knott (Republican) represents the 13th Congressional District in North Carolina. The previous incumbent Wiley Nickel (Democrat) declined to run for re-election after the district map was redrawn to incorporate largely rural counties with more conservative voters. Johnston County is the most populous County in Congressional District #13. Representative Knott, received 243,655 votes in the 2024 General Election and 74,018 of those votes, 30.4% of his total, were cast here in Johnston County.
As a voter in Johnston County how important is it to you and your family that Federal spending and the deficit be reduced? For context since 2000 the Federal Budget has more than tripled. There appears to be a clear correlation between deficit spending and inflation. Is your household budget keeping up with inflation?
