Bun Bo hue - yummy food
Cooks often add a ripe pineapple and lots of lemongrass to the broth to make the broth more fragrant. This tip really make broth to a whole new level.
Beef blood - the interesting ingredient in this dish is solidified with salt. It’s slightly chewy, pretty dense, and holds its shape when bitten.
Pork hock is stewed until soft, this is an indispensable ingredient in this noodle dish.
Crab ball - my favorite ingredient in this soup, it has a wonderful orange color and aroma, and it is also the most expensive ingredient in this bowl of vermicelli.Crab cakes are made from lean pork and fat pork, crab then pureed and mixed together, cashew oil is added to make it orange. They are then molded into balls and dropped into the broth.
Thinly sliced tender beef.
Big rice vermicelli - only appears in this dish, in traditional vermicelli dishes, the cook uses small rice vermicelli.
Pork paste ball - Made from lean meat and fat of pork, then pureed and seasoned with fish sauce.
Uncle@dang007 loves Bun Bo Hue very much, he is a Vietnamese living in the US but still remembers the dishes of his homeland. He said that a bowl of Bun Bo Hue in the US costs an average of $10-12 and he showed me about it. Honestly those pictures are pretty bland and boring and those noodles bowls don't have all the ingredients and taste as good as here. If someone has eaten Bun Bo Hue in other countries and feels its taste is bad, I recommend you if you intend to travel to Vietnam try this dish again, it's better than you think. I can eat it at any time of the day, how can I refuse such a delicious and nutritious noodle dish? A bowl of Bun Bo Hue here costs an average of $1.5 to $3. This restaurant is called "Bun Bo Hue O Ha" located in Hanoi city.
Honestly its price is more expensive than other Bun Bo Hue restaurants but the taste of this dish is quite good and clean. The covid epidemic is still going badly in Vietnam, the restaurants are almost exclusively for takeaway , but this restaurant is still crowded at noon and in the evening.I went to Hanoi to pick up some books at university and stopped by this Bun Bo Hue restaurant.
I was really afraid of this pandemic so I had to wear 2 masks and chose a seat in the corner to enjoy Bun Bo Hue.
The broth was so fragrant, balanced of spicy, salty, sour, and sweet flavors that I fell in love, I could have eaten more than that. It was really a healthy and very healthy soup that had a lot of meat and vegetables combined. Awwwww I’m actually crazy for this dish.
I ordered 1 plate of bagel twists, and 1 can of coke. Total price 165,000 VND for 2 people (about 7.5 USD).
This restaurant has many Bun Bo Hue dishes with different ingredients and they also sell crab balls, beef balls, lean pork paste for diners and of course its price is too expensive but its quality is good :(
