Did you ever taste quail roasted?
It is the first time for me to meal it. The meat is like duck flesh. The texture is quite tough. The quail is not only to be roasted but also fried. I do like the aroma, which is pleasant.
The most difficult texture is the skin. Maybe if I choose the fried one, it could be crispy. However, it was delicious because it was completed by sambal. It also makes me hooked.
This culinary business becomes part of the quail egg business ecosystem. My friend took the meat from a quail that is 'retiring' in producing eggs. The age of the bird around 3-4 months. I guess it is useful to manage the bird in the business.
The quail was cooked (ungkep) before. Then it is put on the grill. Make sure the stove was on 😃. Smear it with oil then the soy sauce.
With the medium mode, it took 5-7 mins to be cooked.
