Greetings!
Today is another day that I got to cook with my family, especially for my wife because the dish that I am going to cook today is her favorite. To cook it my wife has to drive to the market today just to buy the ingredients. She said it has been a while since she ate the dish and she is craving for it. The dish is called "Ginisang Toge" or "Sauteed Mung Bean Sprouts". I actually not into this dish until I met my wife. But when my wife introduced it to me I fell in love with it. It is so simple, yet tasty, maybe because of the tomatoes and the tofu. This is also a versatile dish because you can make it into spring rolls by wrapping it with a spring roll wrapper and then frying it.
So, without further ado, here's how I cook this tasty dish...
- Mung Bean Sprouts or Toge (500 grams)
- Tofu (150 grams)
- Carrots (110 grams)
- Tomatoes (120 grams)
- Onion (small, 1 piece)
- Garlic (small, 2 cloves)
- Cooking oil (about 4 tablespoons for frying the tofu and sauteeing)
- Salt (2-3 pinches of salt)
Wash and slice the tomatoes
