Naija local rice and beans jollof.
A rich man would always say;
"I eat rich and expensive food but I also eat local dishes"
...Naija rice and beans is very fun to prepare and guess what makes it fun..the fact that it's also prepared with red oil...smiles
Don't be tricked by the name.."local"
It's very delicious.
The awesome ingredients needed for this includes:
1.local rice
2.beans(except the honey beans)
3.red oil
4.seasonings
5.pepper
6.plenty crayfish
Beans takes a little time to cook and for the rice I parboiled it first so that I can wash it a second time... we'll have to parboil it to be a little hard ...it will cook with the beans later.
Procedures
First step:is to parboil the rice(half done)
Second step:is to wash the rice
Third step :is to prepare the jollof
Fourth step:is to add the beans to the jollof.
Fifth step:is to let the beans to be almost cooked ...now you can add the the rice.
Make sure that all ingredients and seasonings are in their appropriate amount ...also consider your health status... especially when adding pepper and salt.
Let it cool for some more minutes.
Now,it's time to check your food..
Mix it well with a spatula or long spoon so that the beans would mix evenly with the rice.
FOOD IS READY.
