Finally, all my senses gathered back, no more "I don't wanna eat that grumpy face."
But unfortunately, my roomie got sick and she needs some chicken bones for the famous - #childhoodflusoup
- Seems like we both had regular seasonal flu, according to the negative tests + we got both sick at almost the same time each year = immunization.
And my current mood is up for some seriously comforting bites!
I kept the meet.
This is an invented recipe sponsored by my curiosity.
One boneless chicken drumstick (or you can always take it out and keep it in the freezer (no longer than 3 months) - for ASAP chicken broth).
Baby carrots, cute and sweet, and easy to prepare - a handful of frozen baby carrots (or even better fresh ones).
Chop one red pepper, 2 x pickled onions, 2 cloves of garlic.
Marinade, lots of times I've seen my mom using milk during pork preparation.
The reason for that is that milk accelerates the softening of meat, it makes it juicier without any effect on taste.
First time trying it out with chicken meat.
Place the meat in a deep bowl, sprinkle with salt, souvlaki spice, pepper, chives, and mustard powder, add the milk, and let the meat sink in.
Leave it in the fridge for about 30 minutes.
Now back to the veggies, on medium temperature heat up about two spoons of oil, add pickled onions and then red pepper, keep frying until it's almost half done.
Add garlic and finally, baby carrots, cover it up keep frying it at low temperature until carrots become soft.
4 slices of cheese, 50 gr salami, 2 tortillas.
I love adding seeds to salads and these types of dishes.
A handful of pumpkinseeds, straight to the pan for another ten minutes - done.
This recipe contains a maximum of 4 tablespoons of oil, so all the fat from chicken drumsticks and salami will serve very well, so first let's fry a bit of salami.
The level of crunchiness - optional, then add the chicken meat and do not forget marinade.
Now watch the water disappear. What we are left is that buttery fat.
Fry, stirring occasionally, until the very end, if necessary add two more tablespoons of oil.
Bake the tortillas on one side only, then place the cheese over that side, add the chicken filling, wrap and secure with a toothpick.
Going back to the pan.
Happy, happy, happy...
These will be extra crunchy from the outside and soft from the inside. Fry it a bit from the outside or just warm it up.
That's the thing I like about wraps, you just need a pan and they are heated up so quickly.
Comfooooortttttt, dripping all over...
I was convinced they will fall apart after taking the toothpick out, but nope these wraps are wrapped.
This will satisfy all my cravings...
+2 spoons of sour cream on the side.
Bon appetite guys! 🍴
