I'm back to share a new recipe with you, not very healthy, but so good! 😊
A nice little beef burger with goat cheese and chorizo, accompanied by air fryer sweet potato fries.
I don't know if you also like burgers, but we love them! We could eat them every day (or almost) but hey, that wouldn't be very reasonable.
So once in a while, we treat ourselves and try new burger recipes. This time, we tried an unusual combination: goat cheese and chorizo. We had never tried putting chorizo in a burger and what a mistake! It's really super good. 😋
I already mentioned this dish very briefly in a previous post, but I hadn't posted the recipe yet so now is the time!
Anyway, I'm going to share our little recipe with you!
Ingredients for 2 burgers (2 persons):

For the burger 👇
- 2 Burger buns (which you can make at home if you have a little time);
- 2 Ground beef steaks;
- 1/2 of Chorizo (approximately 100g);
- 3/4 log of goat cheese (approximately 150g);
- ½ onion;
- Barbecue sauce (or another sauce of your choice).
For the sweet potato fries 👇
- 1 large sweet potato or several small ones (approximately 250g);
- Garlic powder;
- Paprika;
- Olive oil.
Preparation steps:
Sweet potato fries
I started by preparing the fries, because they require about 30 minutes of cooking in the Air Fryer.
I first peeled the sweet potatoes, then cut them into fries of about 8mm.

After that, I put them on a plate to season them before putting them in the Air Fryer which had finished its preheating phase.

For the seasoning, I put olive oil, paprika, garlic powder and salt.
And then, I mixed, a little with the spatula and a little with my hands.

Then, I was able to put my fries in the oven at 180 degrees for 30 mins. I stirred the basket several times to have even cooking.

The burgers
While the fries were cooking gently on their side, I started to make the burgers.
I started by cutting the onion into thin strips and in a frying pan with a drizzle of olive oil, I browned it.

Tasting
It took me about 20 minutes to make the burgers, and the fries finished cooking shortly after. I was able to serve everything at the same time, with a little (a lot) of barbecue sauce.

The sweet potato fries were really good, however some were a little overcooked. Maybe they were a little too thin. Also, I think I could have doubled the amount of sweet potato, because the quantity was a little too small.
Otherwise, the burger was really excellent, the goat cheese and chorizo go really well together! It was super good. We had a great time! 👍

Un bon petit burger au bœuf avec du chèvre et du chorizo, accompagné de frites de patates douces au air fryer.
Je ne sais pas si vous aussi vous aimez les burgers, mais nous, on adore ! On pourrait en manger tous les jours (ou presque) mais bon ce ne serait pas très raisonnable.
Alors une fois de temps en temps, on se fait plaisir et on teste des nouvelles recettes de burger. Cette fois-ci, on a testé une association atypique : du chèvre et du chorizo. On n’avait jamais testé de mettre du chorizo dans un burger et quelle erreur ! C’est vraiment super bon. 😋
J'ai déjà évoqué très rapidement ce plat dans un précédent post, mais je n'avais pas encore posté la recette donc c'est le moment.
Bref, je vais vous partager notre petite recette !
Les ingrédients pour 2 burgers (2 personnes :

Pour le burger 👇
- Deux pains à burger (que vous pouvez faire maison si vous avez un peu de temps devant vous) ;
- Deux steaks de bœuf haché ;
- La moitié d'un chorizo (environ 100g) ;
- 3 quart d'une bûche de chèvre (environ 150g) ;
- ½ oignon ;
- De la sauce barbecue (ou une autre sauce de votre choix).
Pour les frites de patates douces 👇
- 1 grosse patate douce ou 2 moyennes (environ 250g/300g) ;
- De l’ail en poudre ;
- Du paprika ;
- De l’huile d’olive.

J’ai commencé par préparer les frites, car elles nécessitent environ 30 mins de cuisson au Air Fryer.

Pendant que les frites cuisaient doucement de leur côté, j’ai commencé à faire les burgers.

J’ai ensuite commencé la cuisson de mes steaks hachés. Et lorsque la cuisson était presque parfaite, j’ai ajouté les morceaux de chèvre sur les steaks. Cela m’a permis de les faire fondre.

Et j’ai pu m’occuper du montage des burgers. Pour cela, j’ai commencé par mettre un peu d’huile d’olive sur les pains puis par les faire dorés dans une poêle.

Dégustation
J’ai mis environ 20 mins à faire les burgers, et les frites ont terminé leur cuisson peu de temps après. J’ai pu tout servir en même temps, avec un peu (beaucoup) de sauce barbecue.

Les frites de patates douces étaient vraiment bonnes, cependant certaines étaient un peu trop cuites. Peut-être qu’elles étaient un peu trop fines. De plus, je pense que j’aurai pu doubler la dose de patate douce, car la quantité était un peu juste.
Sinon, le burger était vraiment excellent, le chèvre et le chorizo vont super bien ensemble ! C’était super bon. On s’est régalés ! 👍
