Do you also love vegetable patties? We love them a lot and could eat them every day! And a few weeks ago, I tested a new patty recipe: red bean patties.
In addition to being super tasty, it was super quick to make: it took me less than 5 minutes to prepare the mixture and a little less than 20 minutes to cook all the patties. 🍽️
And in terms of budget, it is very accessible. The patties are made with inexpensive ingredients such as red beans, oatmeal or onions for example. The most expensive ingredient is probably the soy sauce, but it is possible to reduce the dose.
Here is the recipe to make about 12 small red bean patties:
Ingredients

- 240g cooked red beans (canned for example),
- 50g tomato sauce (cooked, homemade, or canned),
- 30g oatmeal,
- 1/2 onion,
- 10 ml salty soy sauce,
- salt, pepper and paprika.

For this recipe, you will need a blender.
Preparation of the mixture
You will see, the recipe is quite simple. Indeed, you just have to mix all the ingredients together.
But before that, I roughly chopped half an onion:

And then, I simply mixed until I got a mixture with only a few small pieces.

Cooking the pancakes
To cook the pancakes, I heated a little olive oil in a frying pan. Then, I formed 3 small pancakes and let them cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side.

To turn them over and prevent them from breaking, I used a crepe spatula.
The tasting
I decided to serve the red bean pancakes with spaghetti and tomato sauce and it goes very well.

Est-ce que vous aussi, vous adorez les galettes de légumes ? Nous, on aime beaucoup ça et on pourrait en manger tous les jours ! Et il y a quelques semaines, j’ai testé une nouvelle recette de galettes : des galettes aux haricots rouges.
En plus d’être super bon, c’était super rapide à faire : j’ai mis moins de 5 minutes à préparer la mixture et un peu moins de 20 minutes à cuire toutes les galettes. 🍽️
Et en termes de budget, c’est très accessible. Les galettes sont composées d’ingrédients peu coûteux comme les haricots rouges, les flocons d’avoine ou les oignons par exemple. L’ingrédient qui coûte le plus cher, c’est sans doute la sauce soja, mais il est possible de diminuer la dose.
Voici la recette pour faire environ 12 petites galettes de haricots rouges :
Les ingrédients

- 50g de sauce tomate (cuisiné, maison, ou en conserve),
- 30g de flocon d’avoine,
- 1 demi-oignon,
- 10 ml de sauce soja salée,
- du sel, du poivre et du paprika.

La cuisson des galettes
Pour la cuisson des galettes, j’ai fait chauffer un peu d’huile d’olive dans une poêle. Puis, j’ai formé 3 petites galettes et j’ai laissé cuire environ 2-3 minutes de chaque côté.

Pour les retourner et éviter qu’elles ne se cassent, j’ai utilisé une spatule à crêpe.
La dégustation
J’ai décidé de servir les galettes de haricots rouges avec des spaghettis et de la sauce tomate et cela se marie très bien.
