I do like rabbit, both tame and wild. There are some subtle differences in the flavor between the 2, but they both taste like rabbit.
We had cottontail in the crockpot last week, really good! That bunny spent most of the winter in my garden eating under the bird feeder. I couldn't get it to go into the live trap, so I finally got it with the pellet gun.
i agree there are def subtle differences. cottontails are so good. Yeah the cottontails def seem a little tricky to get in my live trap. i have another design i will be making soon to hopefully have a better success rate
