Happy and blessed day my friends from #foodies, a pleasure to be with you again, to present the qualities in the kitchen. For today I want to show you how to prepare this passion fruit, passion fruit, or passion fruit tart, here in Venezuela we call it passion fruit, this tart is not the original recipe, I prepared it in my style but it was very tasty. Here I show you its ingredients and preparation.
Feliz y bendecido día mis amigos de #foodies, un placer de nuevo estar con uds, para presentar las cualidades en la cocina. Para el día de hoy quiero mostrarles como prepare está tartaleta de parchita, fruta de la pasión, o maracuyá, aquí en Venezuela le decimos parchita, está tartaleta no es la receta original, la prepare a mi estilo pero quedó muy sabrosa. Aquí les muestro sus ingredientes u preparación.

Ingredients

  • 300 gr of wheat flour
  • 300 grams of sugar
  • 200 ml of passion fruit pulp
  • 100 g of butter
  • 50 gr of corn starch
  • 1 egg

Ingredientes

  • 300 gr de harina de trigo
  • 300 gramos de azúcar
  • 200 ml de pulpa de parchita
  • 100 gr de mantequilla
  • 50 gr de almidón de maíz
  • 1 huevo

I started by mixing 100 grams of the 300 grams of sugar together with the butter, we mix until creamy and a pale yellow color is noticeable, at that moment we add the egg and continue mixing
Comencé mezclando 100 gramos de los 300 gr de azúcar junto con la mantequilla, mezclamos hasta cremar y se note un color amarillo pálido, en ese momento agregamos el huevo y seguimos Mezclando

For this step, after mixing all of the above
We add the flour and integrate until we have a compact dough, then we put it in the fridge for about an hour.

Para este paso, luego de mezclar todo lo anterior
agregamos la harina e integramos hasta que nos quede un masa compacta, luego la llevamos a la nevera alrededor de una hora.

After the time in the fridge, we take a part of the dough and stretch it 5 mm thick. As I do not have a cake mold, I took a cake mold and made the shape of the cake, first I made what would be the base and then 3 strips of dough, which will be the walls of the cake.

Pasado el tiempo en la nevera, tomamos una parte de la masa y la estiramos de 5 mm de espesor. Como yo no tengo molde tartas, tome un molde de torta e hice la forma de la tarta, primero hice lo que sería la base y luego 3 tiras de masa, lo que será las paredes de la tarta.

When we have prepared our cake, we take a fork and we open holes for all the dough so that it does not grow, we take it to the oven at 180⁰c for 18 minutes.

Cuando ya hayamos tenido armado nuestra tarta, ti.amos un tenedor y abrimos agujeros por todas la mása para que no crezca, la llevamos al horno a 180⁰c por 18 minutos.

While the cake is baking, we begin to make what will be the filling, which is nothing more than cornstarch, the sum of passion fruit and sugar, we begin to liquefy the pulp until obtaining the juice, we strain to extract the seeds.

Mientras se hornea la tarta, comenzamos hacer lo que será el relleno que no es más que fécula de maíz el sumo de parchita y azúcar, comenzamos licuado la pulpa hasta obtener el jugo, colamos para extraer las semillas.

Then we bring the passion fruit juice to medium heat, on the other hand we mix the cornstarch with 10 ml of water, once the juice has heated, we pour the cornstarch mixture into the pot and stir constantly until thick, once thickened we lower the heat and let it rest for a few minutes.

Luego llevamos el jugo de parchita a fuego medio, por otro lado mezclamos la fécula de maíz con 10 ml de agua, una vez haya calentado el jugo, vertemos la mezcla de fécula de maíz a la olla y removemos constantemente hasta espesar, una vez espesado bajamos del fuego y dejamos reposar por unos minutos.

The cake is ready, and our passion fruit sauce is ready, we only have the last step, which will be to add the passion fruit sauce to the cake, let it rest for about 10 minutes and then we put it in the fridge for 4 hours until set. After 3 seconds, we can only serve and taste this delicious dessert.

Lista la tarta, y lista nuestra salsa de parchita solo nos queda el último paso,el cual será agregar la salsa de parchita a la tarta dejamos reposar unos 10 minutos y luego la llevamos a la nevera por una 4 horas hasta cuajar. Pasado 3se tiempo solo nos queda servir y degustar este rico postre.

Could there be a replacement for passion fruit because I have never seen it here?

Hello friend, the truth is, I don't think there is a replacement, the Granada fruit has something similar, but this passion fruit is very juicy and its flavor is acidic so it has enough sugar to suit the taste of the person, but it is very rich and refreshing since we also make juice with it.

Okay then, I will have to search for it.
