Did you realize that cinema popcorn has a different taste than popcorn sold in public places? I really miss the taste and texture of cinema popcorn!
It's been 2 years since the coronavirus pandemic created regulations to close cinemas. This month the cinema is finally open in my city! So I took the opportunity to enjoy some popcorn.
I went to the cinema in my city at that time, “CINEPOLIS”. Actually, I didn't go to the movie, but I did go there just for the popcorn I've been missing!
JUMBO POPCORN!
How about the jumbo size popcorn? Say YES! So I bought the Jumbo package, which includes 2 soft drinks.
One popcorn box contains two flavors, a combination of salted popcorn and caramel popcorn!
Finally, I can feel again the sensation of the taste and texture of cinema popcorn! I'm soooo happy!

Covid as cause much harm and also grately interrupt most of our activities just like public gatherings like u mentioned the cinema.
I thought I was the only one who use to feel like the popcorn in cinema usually taste unique and delicious than others, until I saw your post.

I haven't had popcorn for many years; but I have to say I much prefer my own; but boy to I dress those kernels up.

I've always thought the popcorn at the cinema was the best ever.
Many years ago, my husband would stop at a local cinema on the way home once in a while and bring a huge bucket of it home. SO good ! I have never seen mixed flavors at the cinema, but they did have butter machines so that you could make it very buttery if you wanted too.
I'm glad you finally got to enjoy some.
One day I tried to prepare popcorn with the pebbles.
