A warm cup of coffee is uplifting and helps to generate new ideas. Accompanied by brownies that make your day feel like everything is going to be okay.
Black coffee has its own character that seems to be able to relieve drowsiness, at least for me. Classic, but feels nice. But it's also a matter of individual taste. Often, black coffee is considered too strong and is considered to be the drink of the elderly, not the drink of the young.
How about you guys? Do you like black coffee? Or, do you prefer coffee mixed with milk?
Black coffee is one of my favorite types of coffee drinks for the morning, which is served hot. I am a daily coffee drinker. It's like a must for me. It feels weird if I don't drink hot coffee, or it feels like I don't think of the creative ideas I need for my work.
So, this time I will share about a cup of hot black coffee that I combine with a sweet cake that is perfect for accompanying coffee time. Stay tuned!
Black Coffee With Palm Sugar
I like to drink black coffee without white sugar. That may sound strange to some people out there. In fact, before that, I also felt strange and unfamiliar. But since I reduced sugar consumption to avoid diabetes, I finally got used to enjoying coffee without white sugar.
After getting used to drinking black coffee without white sugar, I feel that black coffee tastes more delicious and more natural, lighter on my throat. But there are times when I want to drink sweet black coffee. So the alternative is to use palm sugar.
Palm Sugar
The use of palm sugar is not without reason, or I did it suddenly without consideration. I make black coffee with palm sugar because I've had this type of hot coffee before in several cafes. It's delicious and I'm interested in making it myself at home.
In addition, palm sugar has a lower glycemic index than white sugar. It is very spicy to maintain blood sugar and does not cause a more significant rise in blood sugar than white sugar.
I also like the texture of palm sugar, which is like sand, so it dissolves easily in hot water. Palm sugar also smells better than white sugar.
I mix a teaspoon of palm sugar with a cup of black coffee. Oh, my goodness! The scent just keeps getting better and makes me feel like I'm more alive! That looks uplifting, right?
Choco Orange Brownies
I found the product Choco Orange Brownies when shopping at my regular supermarket last week.
I want to eat a cake that has a moist and fudgy texture to perfect my hot coffee time. Then I saw this product. It was a beautiful coincidence.
The unique thing is, that the product labeled with this type of brownie turns out to be in the form of a muffin. At first, I thought the packaging of this product contained muffins. But it turns out I was wrong! Those are brownies, not muffins.
They look like cute mini muffins, with a few bits of orange. Because it's moist and fudgy, it whets my appetite. One more thing, it smells very orange!
It feels right to accompany me to drink hot coffee. This type of food product did not disappoint me. Yummy!
One package consists of 4 pcs of choco orange brownies. Per one pcs, weighing 15 grams. For me, eating 1-2 pcs is enough filling. Do you want?
I hope you can find what you deserve to find today. Have a great day, good people, HIVE Lovers!

I love the concept of the photos. it looks vintage and modern at the same time! Coffee plus cupcake is match-made in heaven!
Thanks! I can’t just let the coffee out there without taking pictures ehehe
It would be a disrespect to the coffee and its beauty, ehhehehe
I haven't tasted coffee before but looking at your images makes me want to have some.
Thanks :)
You're welcome friend 💕.
As a Type diabetic myself, I (@frittro) have switched from using cane sugar to using stevia-extract. I have, however, heard good things about cane sugar as well, and it is something that I would consider using as an alternative. From what I have read, palm sugar is more environmentally sustainable than palm oil production, as the palm trees do not need to be cut down to obtain the sap which is used in the production of palm sugar.

Have a great day 😊
These photos are beautiful.
All my life, I have never tasted black coffee... I learnt it has a bitter taste
for sure the taste bitter but the good quality of coffee powder has light taste :)
Aduh, aku minum panadol yg ada kafeinnya aja jadi susah tidur, gimana minum black coffee 😅 Awesome picture, sis, as always. Suka deh sama komposisi & warnanya 😍
Kalo aku sih, malah abis ngopi tetep bisa tidur klo udh capek huhu
Wow, I just found out there is a brownie product like that
You can found it at supermarket:)
Honestly, @anggreklestari I do not know the type I have been taking. Milk and sugar are optional for me. By the way, is the palm sugar you mentioned any different from the normal white sugar? And those brownies, what are they really?
palm sugar is really different and healthier:)
Really? I'd try it out sometime.
Same here I am also fascinated by the taste of black coffee. On my first sip, it gives me that "kick" and I love how I feel energized after. But sometimes I tend to want to add sweetness to my cup. Beautiful photos😍☕️
My favorite is plain Turkish coffee and plain filter coffee. To get that magical real taste of coffee, I think it should be drunk plain. It is nice to eat dates or apricots with coffee. Shall I tell you a secret, coffee with powdered cinnamon instead of sugar both makes it sweet and makes you lose weight ☺️
I always wonder about the original turkish coffee. I hope someday I can drink it
I hope you come to Turkey, I would like to offer you coffee. I can send it too ☺️
I absolutely can't drink black coffee, my taste bud for coffee is like a small child. 😅 Sweet, creamy with various type of syrup! 😆 And your photo was so beautiful as usual. 😀 Thanks for your inspired! ❤️
ahaha yeah latte is perfect for you ❤️
Your aesthetic sense in plating and setting up for food photography is inspiring. I already had four cups of coffee today but your post make me want to have another one.
Four cups, really? Sometimes I drank up to 3 cup ehehe
Yes 😁 same as today. One more cup haha.
