The photo frames of Capitancillo Islet
Capitancillo is one of the well-known restaurants in Bogo City. It is located at Pelaez Street, Bogo City. Capitancillo came from the name of the islet in Bogo City. That's why the owner of the restaurant is named as same as the islet. It is a café and restaurant and catering services. They offer catering services for birthdays, weddings, and any occasion. They have quality service in catering. They served various food.

How to get there?
From Cebu City if riding a bus:
- Find a Bus route going to Bogo, Hagnaya, Daanbantayan, Medellin or Bantayan Island.
- Tell the bus driver to stop in Dakit, Bogo City.
- Look for a tricycle going to Pelaez Street. Tell the driver to stop in front of the Capitancillo Café and Restaurant. Make sure to say the restaurant because maybe the driver will confuse if it is an islet or a restaurant.
- It takes 5-7 minutes going there at the restaurant by tricycle.
The information above is your guide when your friends invited you to dine in there.
The Menu
When I go there, I'd prefer to choose their fish fillet with sour cream sauce. I also love their sizzling. Most of the family eating there, like to order "Nilagang Baboy" (boiled pork soup), fish soup or beef soup. They love eating with soup, especially at dinner time. Even, my family, really loves to have soup because my little son cannot digest his food without soup. He used to eat with soup since he was months old.

When you plan for your wedding, debut, birthday, or any occasion. They served for the reception at home, the beach, or any place you've been dreaming of. Fish fillet with rice and chicharron
These are the food that we ordered with my husband.
We ordered their combo meal. My husband had his fish fillet with rice and chicharron. I had my honey-glazed chicken with rice and chicharron. We added dry noodles (bam-i in Cebuano) with various vegetables, fish balls, mushrooms, fried eggs, and meat.
Capitancillo's Special Bam-i
I made this one before because my mother taught me.
How to make special Bam-i or pancit? (My own version)
Ingredients:
canton noodles (thick)
half boiled bihon noodles (thin)
sliced meat (chicken/pork)
shrimps
special hotdog (I'd preferred Virginia Products)
pork liver
cabbage
sliced carrots
spring onions
garlic
onion
oyster sauce
soy sauce
chicken cube
Instructions
- Prepare a pan.
- Put oil on the pan, let it heat for 2 to 3 minutes.
- Once the oil is hot, fry the garlic and onion to light brown.
- Add the sliced pork meat. Then, once the meat is half-cooked already, add the shrimp, liver, hot dogs, and mushrooms. Cook for 5 minutes. Then, get the liver and hotdogs from the pan to avoid overcooked.
- Add the oyster and the soy sauce. Then, mix it well to combine the ingredients.
- Add the chicken cube and pour 1 cup of water on it if the noodles are half cooked already from boiling. Add the sliced carrots. If the soy sauce is not enough, add a pinch of salt and black pepper. Make sure to taste it. After 5 minutes. Add the two kinds of noodles(cantoon and the bihon), cabbage, and spring onion. Cook for 2-3 minutes. Make sure to mix it well with the cooked liver and hot dogs, Mix it well carefully. Stir it for 1-2 minutes.
- Lastly, served it with calamansi on a plate.
Enjoy eating!

Yeahhh, this place deserves praise!💯
I still remember how the staff at this restaurant surprised our younger brother on his 16th birthday with an adorable, delightful cake and a lovely dance. Along with them, we danced. I adore everything—the cuisine, the beverages, the desserts, the staff, everything.😍 Anyway, My younger brother (next to me) used to work here during his SHS immersion. Hehe
