Indomie, Indomie, My Indomie Noodles! If you grew up in Nigeria, you are likely to be familiar with that promo song.
I remember back in those days when Indomie came to Nigeria. I wanted to eat Indomie noodles almost every morning and night. We were living in Kwara, and there was a shop right opposite the house that sold it for #20 (about $0.013 at the current exchange rates). After much pleading, my mom would grant my wish and every night I wanted indomie!
This meal is super easy and fast to make, it takes approximately ten minutes to make it even if you plan to add some other ingredients to garnish the food.
In today's food episode, I will be walking you through how I prepare Fried Indomie with Boiled Eggs.
These are the Ingredients Used;
- Indomitable Pasta
- Fresh Carrot
- Groundnut oil
- Beef
- Seasonings
- Egg
- Blended pepper
How to Prepare the Fried Indomie
Place a clean pot on the heat, add little water put the sliced carrot inside it and allow to cook for 2 minutes then remove from the cooker,then put another clean pot on the cooker and add the Indomie pasta inside it. Allow it to boil for about 10 minutes then use a spoon to pack it from the pot. Place the pot again on the heat for a few minutes to heat up and add the groundnut oil, grounded pepper, sliced carrot, Beef, and Indomie seasonings. After you've added all, mix it and leave it for 2 minutes to cook.
Furthermore, add the boiled Indomie into the mixture, allow it to cook for about 3 minutes or more, then get it off the cooker and serve.
Can you now see that it's easy to cook and I hope you will try to be using this fast and easy method anytime you feel like eating noodles?
