Pie with apples and plums

Now we have apple time, my mother-in-law has a cool apple tree growing, this year the fruit is large. Apples are red, sweet and juicy. I decided to make an apple pie, added some plums. It turned out just a bomb. And now in order.

Ingredients

apples 1,5 kg.
plums 300 gr.
flour 500 gr.
sugar 250 gr.
salt 5 gr.
dough leavener 3 tsp.
butter 200 gr.
eggs 2 pieces
kefir or sour milk 200 g.
vanilla sugar 3 packets
cinnamon 15 gr.

In kefir or sour milk add leavening agent (it can be pre-mixed with a tablespoon of flour, but it is not necessary) Beat the eggs with sugar, thoroughly. In my case, I put butter briefly in the microwave to make it soft. I mix all the ingredients and add the flour. The dough turns out like thick sour cream.

I cut out parchment paper on a round deco, grease it thoroughly with a piece of soft butter so that the cake does not stick. I pour the dough on the parchment in the deco and lay out the apples and plums cut in segments on top.

I put the pie in an oven heated to 180 degrees and bake it for 45 minutes. All ovens are different, see your own case. You can check if the pie is ready by piercing it with a toothpick or matchstick. If the toothpick is dry and the pastry is not sticking, the pie is ready. It turns out very beautiful, like a large muffin, and tastes similar to a cupcake.

It is important not to eat it hot, wait until it cools down completely. Look how beautiful, very tasty and looks great.

Good luck to you, dear colleagues.

Sort:

tasted apple pies before but adding plum to it sounds like it'll give off more texture to taste 😋 not much of a fan of the cinnamon but these sort of pies are a beloved classic, thanks for sharing your recipe for this! ☺️
