What could be tastier than homemade sausage and selyanski baked potatoes? The question is rhetorical. There are many dishes made of meat and potatoes, but in its category this is an unsurpassed masterpiece of home cooking.
Well, it's certainly up to the amateur, but for me personally, it's a delicious and wonderful dish. I will tell you in order.
First we need to prepare the sausage. I have previously described the process of cooking home-made sausage. One of the options is to cook yourself minced meat and pieces of meat, then the sausage will be delicious. You can use fatty pork meat, the sausage will not be dry. Be sure to add water to the minced meat so that the sausage was juicy. I use black pepper and coriander, as well as garlic and onions. I use 50% stuffing and 50% slices of meat and fat, a little bit of fat. Cut the meat and bacon into small 1 cm pieces. Mix it all, salt to taste, don't over-salt it. Add spices, garlic and onion. Using a meat grinder and a nozzle, fill the previously well-washed pork intestines. It turns out a beautiful sausage. I bake it in deco, in which I add water, so as not to cover the sausage. Be sure to pierce the sausage with a toothpick in many places, so that it does not puff up. Bake for about 1 hour. Turning deco and flipping sausage so it browns on both sides. It turns out great, the water in the deco keeps the sausage from drying out. You can see on the photo.
The second point of cooking selyanski potatoes. I usually cook potatoes without peeling them. This time I broke the tradition and cooked them town style - without peel. )) The potatoes are cut in sectors. Salt and pepper it, garlic through a garlic cutter, then sweet paprika is added on top. All this is mixed with potatoes and vegetable oil is added. The potatoes are placed on a greased deco and baked in the oven for 40 minutes.
Before serving, I put the sausage in the deco with the potatoes, it did not stand on the table for long, the guests were happy.
Make homemade food, it's better and tastier. You make it yourself better than in a restaurant, you should not be afraid to need to experiment, everything is in your hands, and you will be successful.
