The king among the morels is the common morel

As I wrote in my first article about the earliest mushrooms, I got some really good ones. The beauty is that they came from a clean place and were completely dry. I don't know how anyone had time to pick them like that. After going around the entire market, I found only soggy morels and morel caps. And then I saw a woman and a crate of mushrooms. They were in perfect condition and the woman was familiar, I gladly took them all. She had two species. I wrote about the morel cap, now I will tell you about the Conical or Common Morel.

Unlike the morels cap, which must be boiled for 20 minutes, as it is conditionally edible mushroom. The common morel mushroom is an edible mushroom, it can be fried and without boiling, only well washed. But I decided to boil it a little and boiled it in salted water for 15 minutes. I left it in a container, and for dinner tonight I fried it with mashed potatoes. It turned out incredibly tasty. It started to smell really good when boiled. I fried the onions and then, added butter. Next I fried the morels, and at the end I salted them and added cream. This is just a bomb, no wonder many restaurants in the capital are chasing this seasonal mushroom, we personally, once again convinced that this is really a delicacy of the restaurant level.

The morel mushroom is very tasty dried, it smells incredibly nice. Yes, we enjoyed a wonderful gift from the Creator, it's just a beauty, not a mushroom. For dinner, we served it with mashed potatoes and sauerkraut, it was very tasty.

Look at the result, as I wrote the morel cap is a delicious mushroom, but the morel is much tastier and more flavorful. I recommend to try it. Good mood and peace to all, dear colleagues.
