¡Hola Hivers de mi corazón! ustedes son más dulces que un BOMBOM. He estado un poco ausente de la plataforma, pero eso no significa que en mis pensamientos no estén presentes ;). Las obligaciones y compromisos me han comprometido, pero aquí me ven... dedicandoles este platillo. Tan sabroso y casero, que es imposible no sentirse complacidos de probarlo en los numerosos encuentros familiares.

Hoy les mostrare como preparar UNA SUCULENTA SOPA DE LAGARTO. Tu lo disfrutaras por lo alto. Sin más que demorarlos. ¡Nos vamos directo a elaborarlo!

Today I will show you how to prepare A SUCCULENT LIZARD SOUP. You will enjoy it high. Without more than delay. We go straight to elaborate it!

Esta foto capta el sitio en donde ocurrirá toda la magia culinaria. Y como pueden observar...

LOS INGREDIENTES A UTILIZAR SON LOS SIGUIENTES:

- 1 kg de calabaza.
- 1 1/2 kg de yuca .
- 800 grs de Lagarto con hueso.
- 4 ajíes maduros
- 2 cabezas de ajo.
- 1 un puñito de perejil (50 grs aprox.)
- 250 grs de fideos largos.
- 5 cucharadas de Aceite de girasol.
- 1 a 1/2 cucharada de sal.
- 3 a 4 litros de agua.

THE INGREDIENTS TO USE ARE THE FOLLOWING:

- 1 kg of pumpkin.
- 1 1/2 kg of cassava.
- 800 grams of Lizard with bone.
- 4 ripe chili peppers.
- 2 heads of garlic.
- 1 a handful of parsley (50 grs approx.)
- 250 grams of long noodles.
- 5 tablespoons of sunflower oil.
- 1 to 1/2 tablespoon of salt.
- 3 to 4 liters of water.

Todo comienza con la previa higiene con agua, desconche y desemillado del aliño (si se requiere).

It all starts with the previous hygiene with water, chipping and dessembling of the dressing (if required).

Mientras que yo cortaba en trozos la calabaza, mi padre me ayudaba con pelar la yuca. Es una característica más de este tipo de comidas (ambiente familiar)

While I was cutting the pumpkin into pieces, my father helped me with peeling the yucca. It is one more characteristic of this type of food (family atmosphere)

Ya teniendo picada la verdura la podemos colocar en agua en remojo por un par de minutos.

Having already chopped the vegetables, we can place it in water to soak for a couple of minutes.

Iniciamos con el sofrito del lagarto con hueso.

Agregando las 5 cucharadas de aceite de girasol, 1/2 cucharada de sal (inicial) y todo el conjunto de aliños previamente mencionados.

We start with the stir-fry of the lizard with bone.

Adding the 5 tablespoons of sunflower oil, 1/2 tablespoon of salt (initial) and the entire set of dressings previously mentioned.

Colocamos a fuego medio por 5 minutos. Para luego agregar la cantidad de agua (de 3 a 4 litros) a la sopa (para cocinar y ablandar la carne). Obviamente que hierva el agua y agregar el resto de la 1/2 cucharada de sal (o completas la cucharada si es necesaria).

We place over medium heat for 5 minutes. Then add the amount of water (3 to 4 liters) to the soup (to cook and tenderize the meat). Obviously bring the water to a boil and add the rest of the 1/2 tablespoon of salt (or complete the tablespoon if necessary).

Cuando el lagarto con hueso está semi blando agregamos las verduras y los fideos. dejar cocinar hasta que la sopa este espesa y blanda tanto la carne como la verdura.

Una sopa de estas características estará lista entre un promedio de 1 hora y 30 minutos a 2 horas.

When the lizard with bone is semi soft we add the vegetables and the noodles. Let cook until the soup is thick and tender, both meat and vegetables.

A soup of these characteristics will be ready in an average of 1 hour and 30 minutes to 2 hours.

Ya servida la sopa, me establezco en la mesa que tengo ubicada en las afueras de mi casa. Para comer tranquila y recibir rayos de sol. ¡UN SUEÑO!

Once the soup is served, I settle down at the table that I have located on the outskirts of my house. To eat quietly and receive rays of sun. ¡A DREAM!

I never seen a plate of lizard look this delicious. I just ate amd now I am hungry again!? I swear southern latin American countries are such a grand exotic places for special dishes.

I have been planning on visiting Ecuador and Colombia with my brother if he ever comes down to visit from the US. But it is what it is.

I have had scorpion, squirrel, shark, whale, ants, grasshoppers, chicken, cow, birds, and rattle snakes and water snakes, never lizards. Oh an octopus, squid, clams, oysters, tuna, many various fishes, i think thats about it on the living creatures, as for vegetables and fruits that's a pretty long list too. even still missing to try some, and recently discovering new fruits that I didn't even knew existed that I wish I could try out.

From what I have eaten I have enjoyed the fruits and veggies more than the actual meats.

Also never tried this combo of veggies either. New things to explore.
