Hello everyone,
It's been a long time since I've tried sweet desserts such as mini cakes, cheesecakes, various cookies which are certainly high in single carbohydrates which actually shouldn't be consumed by diabetics. However, the desire to eat various sweet desserts is very difficult to resist. It's been 5 months, I need a mini cake that can satisfy my tongue and heart.
Then, I walked to a big supermarket in my city, to be precise yesterday my husband and I had to do monthly shopping because our stock of soap, shampoo and kitchen equipment was running low, we decided to buy it while relaxing and spending time breaking the fast.
Well, there are several big supermarkets in my city, but there's one I like the most because it's very complete and very comfortable, besides that they have a food court that has a variety of tasty and hygienic snacks. Usually this is my husband's favorite place while waiting for me to shop, but because he was fasting, he finally came with me to shop too.
At the 'corner shop' there is one merchant that was my favorite before knowing that I was a diabetic, "Dels Kitchen" which sells mini cakes, cheesecakes, roll cakes and various other pastries. The place is small but the taste of various pastries from Dels Kitchen is unquestionable.
Starting from social media, Dels Kitchen was able to enchant me to like all the pastries they sell. Not only the taste, the shape of all the various desserts here is very charming, beautiful and cute. That's what makes me can't look away from Dels Kitchen.
Today, I asked my husband's permission to be allowed to eat mini cake which is my favorite. There are many flavors and types of mini cakes that are sold by Dels Kitchen, such as Nutella, Strawberry, Blueberry, Klepon Pandan Minicake and many more. However, unfortunately when I arrived at the merchant location, they had just opened and had not displayed all the cakes. So, I can only take photos of empty merchants.
I ordered my favorite which is Blueberry Minicake. This is the best minicake I've ever eaten, especially since it's rare to have a minicake with blueberry topping on it. Why is it so rare? Because the price of blueberries in Indonesia is quite pricey, because all blueberries in Indonesia are imported. So to make Blueberry minicake may be a very high risk because the raw materials are empty and also the price is relatively expensive. For that, if you are looking for blueberry minicake, then I will only come to Dels Kitchen.
Arriving home, I felt again the taste of the most delicious minicake, the softest and most suitable for my tongue. In my opinion, Dels Kitchen has the right composition of flavors, not too sweet and not too fatty. That's why I really like all the cakes from Dels Kitchen. If I describe it, the sponge cake they make is really very soft and porous, while the cream in the middle is really very soft, whipped perfectly with the right ratio of blueberries, sugar and whipped cream. If bitten it will be very soft like biting a cloud.
Not only that, they are also not stingy with the blueberry topping, so the sour and sweet flavors are the main ingredients and will give an extraordinary sensation on the tongue. All cakes from Dels Kitchen have their own characteristics, even so they are very consistent in maintaining their taste. So, I think if you want to try mini cakes for yourself or give them to your loved ones, they will be perfect.
