Cooking will be much more fun if we are fit. However, a few days ago, I had a little flu, caused by my poor physical condition, over training, fatigue plus being caught in the rain when I got home from the gym. The weather has been getting worse this week, rain and sun are not friendly. Besides, I also lack nutritional intake, especially vitamin C, so maybe my antibodies are getting worse and making things worse.
But don't worry, I have a solution to overcome fatigue and also flu. Usually because I am very lazy to cook, so this is the main solution to get good nutrition so that recovery feels faster. I think everyone should know this recipe, at least it can help you utilize simple ingredients at home and can also provide warmth for the whole family, especially during winter.
I call it 'Ginger Steamed Chicken' because that is the only ingredient I use. Of course, using ginger is the right choice to make the body feel very warm and relieve the throat. The body really needs ginger spices, the taste is also delicious and the aroma is so strong that everything feels more delicious to eat when you are sick.
Ingredients:
- 1 whole chicken, can use chicken that has been cut.
- 6-7 cloves of garlic
- 1 piece of ginger (50-100gr)
- Spring onions
- Enoki mushrooms
- Carrots
- 2 tablespoons oyster sauce and soy sauce
- Oil for frying garlic
How To Cook:
This process is really very easy, without even opening your eyes. The first thing you do after washing the chicken thoroughly, then take a plate or bowl that we will put the chicken in along with all the spices.
I arranged the enoki mushrooms, garlic, spring onions, ginger and carrots on the bowl, after which I coated the chicken with oyster sauce and soy sauce. In order for the spices to soak in even more, you can store the chicken in the refrigerator with various spices for 1 hour. But, this time I was very hungry, so I did everything in one step.
I put the chicken in the steamer, then turned on medium heat for 45 minutes. After that I took the time to fry the garlic.
Garlic's use as a pain reliever is also very good for inflammation. So, I spread the garlic on top of the chicken that was ready to be served so that it tastes more savory and fragrant.
See you the next time hive friends!
