Hello everyone, this time I want to share about my activity today,
As usual, as a wife I run a quarter of the 24 hours working in the kitchen, cooking breakfast, lunch and dinner. I spend most of this time very happily, because making cooking a hobby after marriage makes me relieve a little stress with various activities that are very useful and eliminate the feeling of overthinking.
Cooking is one of the positive activities, besides saving on mandatory expenses, it also makes hunger feel full, especially if you cook yourself at home, we know hygiene and food hygiene very clearly, so we can live healthier in the midst of a very bad era. caused by many viruses and bacteria that develop into many chronic diseases.
Every day, I always choose a healthy and delicious menu for my family, because I am very concentrated on our health and our desire to have children. It's been a few months, my husband and I decided to plan to have children again, so many things were done to support physical and mental health, including choosing food for reproduction.
Many articles explain the importance of living a healthy life and eating fruits and vegetables as a source of nutrients, minerals and vitamins for reproduction. I often use many types of fruits and vegetables, especially bananas and avocados. These two types of fruit are my husband and I's favorite, because both types of fruit are very tasty and also very affordable.
Banana is a fruit that is rich in vitamins for reproduction and is also recommended by ob-gyn doctors as our endeavor to get a boy. So I always have bananas as snacks and appetizers every day, I often buy kapok bananas and boil them to make them more delicious and very suitable to be eaten as a friend to drink coffee in the afternoon. I usually make kapok banana stew, I always mix it with a little steamed grated coconut, the taste is very sweet and soft on the tongue.
But, yesterday my husband and I went and stayed at my in-laws' house for 2 days, I forgot that there were still a lot of bananas at home, so the bananas became ripe and had a color that showed almost rotten. I was so annoyed about this, that I thought of making banana kolak with these almost rotten bananas.
Luckily I have some ingredients at home and can make banana kolak, although I have to buy ready-to-eat coconut milk, I also have some sticky rice in stock at home, so I can make banana kolak.
I made it very simply, the ingredients are as follows; Kepok bananas, 100 ml thick coconut milk, 150 thin coconut milk, pandan leaves, little salt, 75 grams of white sugar, 150 grams of palm sugar, sticky rice and 1 liter of water.
- Peel the banana skin and then cut according to taste.
- Boil 1 liter of water, pandan leaves and palm sugar, then add the sliced bananas. Boil for 15 minutes until the bananas are slightly soft.
- Enter the white sugar and thick coconut milk, stir gently for 2 minutes.
- To cook pulut, wash the glutinous rice until clean, then add pandan leaves and thin coconut milk and a little salt, I cook it using a rice cooker to make it simple.
- Combine sticky rice, banana kolak and a piece of bread in 1 bowl, it's even better when eaten cold or warm.
I also share this banana kolak with my closest neighbors, because the portion is quite large if eaten alone, so that everyone can enjoy the deliciousness of the banana kolak that I made myself.
My husband really likes my banana kolak, he said it's not too sweet but it tastes very good on the tongue, especially if eaten cold by adding ice cubes. So, try this recipe at home, hive friends! Good luck!
See you the next time hive friends!
