My favorite part of gardening is: Harvesting. Everyone will be very happy to see the vegetables they have worked hard to grow now produce. I don't know, but what makes me always support my husband is how he tirelessly supports me with various kinds of hydroponic vegetables. What I like the most is when the lettuce can be harvested and I can make salad or bread with vegetable fillings.

It really is a convenience if I have fresh lettuce ready to harvest. So, almost every breakfast I really look forward to taking some of it to later insert with bread. I like bread with fillings, but I like it the most with savory flavors.

I bought wholemeal pita at the supermarket and got a price that was already discounted 50%. The reason: because it was almost close to the expiration date on March 4th. I like it like that, being able to get good stuff at a good price too, but I have to know when to consume it quickly.

This is the first time I have used wholemeal pita. In fact, this is the first time I have eaten food like this. I wonder what imported food that is not even our tradition is like. Uniquely, I am really very curious.

The Ingredients that i have and making breakfast is:

  • 2 piece wholemeal pita
  • 100 gr lettuce
  • 200 gr chicken breast fillet
  • tomato and chilli sauce
  • parmesan and grated mozzarella

Using 2 pieces of wholemeal pita for me and my husband to consume. I followed the instructions for use. Because I don't have a microwave, I used an iron pan. As simple as using low heat and just leave it for 1 minute on each side. Later it will expand slightly on the surface of the wholemeal pita and it worked. After that, I used a knife to split the side to insert the filling.

With a few pieces of chicken fillet that are my daily protein stock. I will make wholemeal with chicken filling given tomato and chili sauce. Sprinkle oregano and black pepper will make the taste stronger. Of course, no more salt is used because tomato and chili sauce already use sodium.

I also added a little mozzarella cheese and also parmesan. Both will be very interesting when combined. Unfortunately I don't have a delicious cheese sauce. Looks very interesting, right?

After the filling is ready to be baked, then I put all the filling into the wholemeal. I use a lot of lettuce, in fact it is the most filling. I like hydroponic lettuce because it has no taste, no bitterness at all. It even tastes like romaine lettuce, except it doesn't have a crunchy texture. It doesn't matter as long as it tastes good.

Although it seems like a lot of steps, I think this is one of the ready-to-go breakfast menus. Even for bringing children's lunch to school, it's simple and definitely liked. Who doesn't like bread?

See you the next time hive friends!

Yes! It's true that it feels so happy to harvest from the plants that we planted. And it's nice to grow plant at our garden knowing that we eat is pure organic. And at least we can save money spending to buy it at the market.
